Brentwood High School officials have not found any credence to charges by Monessen's boys basketball team that Brentwood students and players used racial slurs toward Monessen in a game Friday. Brentwood issued a statement on its website, saying after the game "the district conducted an investigation and spoke to a number of district students and staff who attended the game. (Today)

Entering the season, Woodland Hills coach Mike Decker figured that senior guard Jeremy McMunn would be his team's second-leading scorer. And why not? Behind ultra-athletic big man Shakim Alonzo, McMunn was certainly the Wolverines' biggest scoring threat.
